Bengaluru, Aug. 15: Independence Day was celebrated at Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra – Hulimangala.

• On this occasion, the birth anniversaries of Sri Aurobindo and Sangolli Rayanna were observed.
• Retired Lieutenant Colonel K. Venkatesh Naidu, who arrived as the chief guest, hoisted the national flag. This was followed by the singing of the national anthem.
• The importance of Independence Day was conveyed and the sacrifices of the freedom fighters who dedicated their lives for the freedom and progress of our nation were remembered.
• The students presented a cultural program.

ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು, ಆ. 15: ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೋತ್ಥಾನ ವಿದ್ಯಾಕೇಂದ್ರ – ಹುಲಿಮಂಗಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ವಾತಂತ್ರ್ಯ ದಿನಾಚರಣೆಯನ್ನು ಆಚರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು.

• ಇದೇ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಶ್ರೀ ಅರಬಿಂದೋ ಮತ್ತು ಸಂಗೊಳ್ಳಿ ರಾಯಣ್ಣ ಅವರ ಜನ್ಮ ದಿನಾಚರಣೆಗಳನ್ನು ಆಯೋಜಿಸಲಾಗಿತ್ತು.
• ಮುಖ್ಯ ಅತಿಥಿಗಳಾಗಿ ಆಗಮಿಸಿದ ನಿವೃತ್ತ ಲೆಫ್ಟಿನೆಂಟ್ ಕರ್ನಲ್ ಕೆ. ವೆಂಕಟೇಶ್ ನಾಯ್ಡು ಅವರು ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರಧ್ವಜಾರೋಹಣವನ್ನು ನೆರವೇರಿಸಿದರು. ಇದರ ನಂತರ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರಗೀತೆಯನ್ನು ಹಾಡಲಾಯಿತು.
• ಸ್ವಾತಂತ್ರ್ಯ ದಿನದ ಮಹತ್ವವನ್ನು ತಿಳಿಸಲಾಯಿತು ಮತ್ತು ನಮ್ಮ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರದ ಸ್ವಾತಂತ್ರ್ಯ ಮತ್ತು ಪ್ರಗತಿಗೆ ತಮ್ಮ ಜೀವನವನ್ನು ಮುಡಿಪಾಗಿಟ್ಟ ಸ್ವಾತಂತ್ರ್ಯ ಹೋರಾಟಗಾರರ ತ್ಯಾಗಗಳನ್ನು ಸ್ಮರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು.
• ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಸಾಂಸ್ಕೃತಿಕ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ಪ್ರಸ್ತುತಪಡಿಸಿದರು.
